Our Prep School is a 4-week program perfect for dog owners who want to be involved in training but would also love expert and dedicated help!

Our day training program is perfect for your new puppy or even the adolescent dog. Your dog will gain a solid foundation of basic obedience (sit, down, leash skills, leave it), waiting at doors and more! Socialization, crate training, and much more enrich each day. We save you time and effort with the initial training, then we teach you how to continue and maintain your dog’s training so you and your dog are ready to enjoy life together. Life with a well-trained dog is easier and more enjoyable!

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons offer you the opportunity to work closely with a Professional Trainer to target specific behaviors or manners for your dog.

This program is designed to help you target very specific behaviors or manners on which you want to focus, giving you the support of an expert Trainer to help you get there! You and your dog will benefit from one-on-one attention during weekly lessons. The bonus is that you learn how to continue training your dog when we’re not with you. A great advantage is that these lessons are in your home or a neutral location… or any combination that helps you!

Private lessons are offered in 4 and 8-week programs.

PUPPY SOCIAL CLUB

Need help socializing your puppy? Come try Puppy Social Club!

Spend an hour learning to read your puppy’s body language, participate in trainer guided puppy play, practice bond-strengthening activities, meet other like-minded puppy owners in the community, and Q+A time with a trainer to ask all of your puppies questions. Your puppy will meet new friends and have the best time. Your first Puppy Social Club is on us!

Personalized Day Training at Peace Love Dogs

Our Personalized Day Training Program helps dogs continue building skills after completing their initial training. With customized plans, positive reinforcement, structured socialization, and engaging enrichment activities, dogs stay confident, well-mannered, mentally stimulated, and happy throughout the day.

Basic Skills is ideal for graduates of our Puppy Class, or most any dog over 5 months old starting out in their training. We also welcome dogs who need to refresh some manners or skills. In this class, you and your dog will learn/refresh name recognition, sit, down, leave it, loose leash walking, come, wait, off and even a trick or two!

During our Basic Skills Group classes, your pup will learn essential skills such as sit, down, stay, leave it, come when called, polite greetings, leash manners, and impulse control.  Puppies should be people- and dog-friendly or neutral; if you’re unsure about your pup’s social skills, Peace Love Dogs offers private evaluations before registration. A detailed list of what to bring will be provided upon registration to ensure your puppy is fully prepared.
