Prep School is our 4-week dog training program designed for owners who want to stay involved while benefiting from the expertise and support of professional dog trainers.
Our day training program is ideal for new puppies and adolescent dogs, offering a strong foundation in basic obedience training—including sit, down, leash walking, ‘leave it,’ and waiting at doors. Each day is enriched with essential puppy socialization, crate training, and positive reinforcement techniques to support balanced dog behavior. We handle the early training work for you, saving time and reducing stress, then guide you through the next steps so you can confidently maintain your dog’s progress at home. Life with a well-trained dog is not only easier—it’s more fun and fulfilling for both of you!

Our private dog training program is ideal for pet owners looking to address specific behaviors, obedience challenges, or manners with personalized support from a professional dog trainer. Through weekly one-on-one sessions, you and your dog receive focused attention and customized guidance tailored to your goals. You’ll not only see real progress during lessons—you’ll also gain the tools and confidence to continue effective training at home. Sessions can take place in your home, at a neutral location, or a combination of both—whatever works best for you and your dog. Private dog training packages are available in convenient 4- or 8-week programs.
PUPPY GROUP CLASS

Our puppy obedience training class provides a comprehensive introduction to foundational behaviors and social skills. Through guided lessons, your puppy will learn crate training, housebreaking, bite inhibition, grooming tolerance, name response, 'leave it,' and more—all while building trust and connection with you in a positive, engaging setting.
In our Puppy Group Training Class, your puppy will build essential life skills through positive reinforcement in a fun, supportive environment. Training includes proper socialization, housebreaking (potty training), crate training, bite inhibition, and name recognition. Your pup will also learn important obedience commands like sit, come, and leave it—plus a few playful tricks like rollover to keep things fun! Once you register, you’ll receive a detailed checklist of what to bring so your puppy is fully prepared for a successful and enriching group training experience.

Our Basic Skills dog training class is perfect for graduates of our Puppy Class or any dog over 5 months old who’s ready to begin or refresh their obedience training. This class welcomes dogs of all experience levels—whether you’re starting fresh or brushing up on essential manners. You and your dog will work on important foundational skills like name recognition, sit, down, leave it, loose leash walking, recall (come), wait, off, and even learn a fun trick or two along the way!
In our Basic Skills Group Dog Training Classes, your puppy or adult dog will develop foundational obedience and behavior skills through positive, reward-based methods. Training covers essential commands such as sit, down, stay, leave it, come when called, polite greetings, leash walking manners, and impulse control. To ensure a safe and productive learning environment, participating dogs should be people- and dog-friendly or neutral. If you’re unsure about your dog’s socialization skills, Peace Love Dogs offers private behavior evaluations prior to enrollment. Upon registration, you’ll receive a detailed list of what to bring so your pup is fully prepared for a successful training experience.
