Our Prep School is a 4-week training program designed for dog owners who want to be hands-on, but also appreciate professional support along the way.
Our day training program is a great fit for both playful puppies and spirited adolescent dogs. Each day is filled with foundational training in essential skills like sit, down, leash manners, leave it, and polite door behavior—plus crate training, socialization, and enriching activities that support well-rounded development. We handle the early stages of training to save you time and effort, then guide you through how to maintain and build on that progress at home. The result? A well-mannered dog and a smoother, more enjoyable life together.

This program is perfect for addressing specific behaviors or manners you’d like to improve, with expert guidance from a Professional Trainer every step of the way. You and your dog will benefit from personalized, one-on-one instruction during weekly sessions tailored to your goals. Even better, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to continue training on your own. Lessons can take place in your home, at a neutral location, or a mix of both—whatever works best for you and your pup.

PUPPY GROUP CLASS

This class is the perfect way to lay the groundwork for your puppy’s social skills and manners while strengthening your bond along the way. You and your pup will explore essential topics like socialization, crate training, potty habits, nipping, gentle handling, grooming, name recognition, “leave it,” and more. It’s informative, hands-on, and yes—lots of fun!
In our Puppy Group Class, your pup will build important life skills including socialization, crate and potty training, bite inhibition, and name recognition. They’ll also start learning key obedience cues like sit, leave it, and come—plus some playful tricks like rollover! Once you register, we’ll provide a detailed checklist of what to bring so your puppy is set up for a fun, positive, and rewarding experience.
BASIC SKILLS GROUP CLASS

Basic Skills is a great next step for Puppy Class graduates or any dog over 5 months old who’s ready to begin—or revisit—their training journey. It’s also perfect for pups who could use a little manners refresher. In this class, you and your dog will work on name recognition, sit, down, leave it, loose leash walking, come, wait, off, and even learn a fun trick or two along the way!
In our Basic Skills Group classes, your pup will develop key behaviors like sit, down, stay, leave it, reliable recall, polite greetings, leash walking, and impulse control. To ensure a safe and positive experience, dogs should be friendly or neutral toward both people and other pups. If you’re unsure about your dog’s social skills, Peace Love Dogs offers private evaluations before you enroll. Once registered, you’ll receive a detailed list of what to bring so your pup is fully prepped for success.
Day Training
