Our Puppy Training Program

Our Houston puppy training program is a four-week day school. Drop your pup off on weekday mornings and pick them up in the afternoon. During the day, we’ll guide them through our proven training techniques to learn essential skills like going potty outside, walking on a leash, sitting on command, and not jumping when they’re excited.

Your puppy will come home each night ready to show off their new skills — and snooze the evening away after a fun-filled day of learning. By the end of the four weeks, your pup will have an excellent training foundation that you and your family can build on to teach additional commands and tricks.

Our puppy prep school also includes a few private lessons with you, your pup, and a member of our training team. We’ll show you how to effectively teach your dog new skills so that you can maintain their training throughout your life together.

After completing our four-week training program, your new furry friend will have learned:

Basic obedience training: Your puppy will learn to follow commands like “sit,” “down,” “leave it,” and “wait.” You’ll be able to rein in your dog’s energetic behaviors and feel comfortable introducing them to new people.
Crate training: Your puppy’s crate should be a safe space where they can take a break from your busy household or feel at peace when they’re home alone. We’ll train your puppy to see their crate as a comfortable reprieve and obediently spend time in it when you need them to.
Potty training: Through positive reinforcement, your puppy will learn that they can only do their business outdoors. They’ll also learn how to alert you that they need to be taken outside.
Leash skills: Walks allow your puppy to get their energy out and stimulate their brain, but when your pup pulls on the leash, walking isn’t enjoyable for anyone. We’ll help your furry friend learn how to stay by your side and walk nicely without tugging or straining.
